Flexible Enrollment and External Class Guidelines

Our school operates on a semester system, allowing students to take up to six courses per semester. There are compulsory courses necessary for graduation, and students will have the option to choose additional courses to meet the requirements for their Grade 12 diploma. Each spring, students select their courses for the upcoming school year by completing a form and submitting a deposit. As classes fill up quickly, it is advisable to submit requests early to secure preferred options.

If students wish to take credit classes outside of Luther College High School, prior permission from our administration is required. These outside grades will not contribute to the student’s average, which may impact eligibility for scholarships and honour pins.
