Dining On Campus

The Luther College cafeteria is known for offering a wide range of fresh cuisine, reflecting a variety of cultural backgrounds. Each day, students can enjoy a delicious lunch with two hot meal entrée options, complemented by a salad bar, dessert, and drinks.

Cafeteria lunch plans are available for purchase in the cafeteria or online. The cash balance on your student’s fob can be any amount, but there is a 10% savings if you add $100 or more. For example, you get $110 worth of meals for $100. Semester lunch plans are $880 each or you can purchase for the whole year for $1725.

Balances Carried on Fobs & Refunds

The remaining balance on a student’s fob will automatically transfer to the next school year. For graduating students or those who withdraw, refunds will only be processed if the balance is $20 or more.

Refunds of $20 or more may be transferred to a sibling’s fob, if applicable. If there is no sibling, a refund will be issued. However, balances under $20 are not refunded due to a $20 administrative fee.

If you purchased an amount eligible for the 10% savings, the 10% bonus is non-refundable. This refund policy applies to all day students, including Grade 12 students graduating at the end of the school year.
