Located in the middle of the North American Plains, Regina, the capital of Saskatchewan – also known as the Queen City – has a lot to offer. With plenty of attractions and an active arts and cultural community, students will feel like a local in no time.

Why Regina?

Regina is a small Canadian prairie city, with a population of nearly 250,000. We are the capital city in the province of Saskatchewan, neighbouring the provinces of Manitoba and Alberta. To the south, it borders the American states of Montana and North Dakota.

Regina is served by an international airport. Students can easily access the city transit system at a bus stop across the street from the high school, and taxis and Ubers are readily available within the city.

A True Four-Season Experience

International students will experience four distinct seasons while living in Regina. Winter is cold and snowy, summer is hot and dry, while spring and fall are more moderate. Weather is not a major concern for international students who live at Luther College because all of the buildings are connected.
