General Fund

Gifts to the General Fund address the school’s most urgent needs, making an immediate impact on all aspects of Luther College—academics, financial aid, professional development, facilities, and campus life. These contributions are used in the year they are received and are directed wherever the need is greatest, allowing the school to respond quickly to emerging opportunities and unforeseen challenges.

Tools for Success

In today’s learning environment, access to technology like laptops, iPads, podcast studio equipment, and portable recording kits is essential. Donations to this fund help stock our library with these vital tools, enabling our students to excel in their university studies. Your contribution ensures that the Luther College Library remains at the forefront of learning technology.

Scholarships & Bursaries

As the cost of university education rises, scholarships and bursaries become increasingly vital for students. Your support directly benefits deserving and outstanding Luther students pursuing a liberal arts degree by helping to offset the cost of tuition and textbooks. Some donors choose to enhance existing scholarships, while others may wish to establish a new scholarship. A minimum of $18,750 is required to endow a new scholarship.
